Optico Fiber is looking for individuals with a varying level of programming skill sets to join our fast growing company. Whether you just graduated or you are an experienced developers, we have positions open for you! Hybrid remote work is available if you meet certain criteria, but in-person work will be required some of the time. General Skill Sets: -Programming languages must know: PHP -Programming languages that would be good to know: Swift, Java, Perl, & Python -SQL Query language -HTML5, CSS, JavaScript -Git & GitHub version control -Knowledge of UI / UX best practices As a Optico Fiber Developer, you: - will design and develop web applications systems - must be passionate about software development - must have a degree in computer science, engineering or related field - must be available to work on a full time basis - have a minimum of one year of experience in web development or comparable school work. - must be proficient with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - must be proficient with PHP and Python - have a strong understanding of object oriented programming and exception handling - familiarity with a web application framework like Laravel, Symfony or Django - familiarity using third party API’s and RESTful services - familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React - familiarity with the SQL language - must have good team working skills - must have good problem solving skills - must have excellent attention to detail - should be able to analyze your users' information system needs - will support end user service provisioning, service deployment, and support - will perform other duties as requested
